JEE (Main) - 2013 for Admission to UG Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, SFIs and State Engineering Colleges
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) invites all the eligible candidates for Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) for admission into Under graduate Engineering Programs at all NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutions.
Eligibility:
• Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2011 or 2012; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2013 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2013
• Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/any other Qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main)
• In the year 2013 however, the candidates who have taken four subjects are also permitted to write JEE 2013 as an exception
• Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2011 or 2012; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2013 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2013
• Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/any other Qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main)
• In the year 2013 however, the candidates who have taken four subjects are also permitted to write JEE 2013 as an exception
Age Limit:
• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible. However, in the case of SC / ST and PwD candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1983 are eligible
• Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / University certificate will only be considered
• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible. However, in the case of SC / ST and PwD candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1983 are eligible
• Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / University certificate will only be considered
How to Apply:
• The online submission of application forms on website: www.jeemain.nic.in
• The candidates must supply all the required details while filling up the JEE (Main) online application form
• On submission of details, a Confirmation Page with Application No. shall be generated.
• Duly completed Confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered / Speed Post to The Executive Director, JEE (Main) Secretariat, Central Board of Secondary Education, PS-1-2, Institutional Area, I.P.Extn. Patparganj, Delhi-110 092
• The candidates must supply all the required details while filling up the JEE (Main) online application form
• On submission of details, a Confirmation Page with Application No. shall be generated.
